Major General MKD Perera RWP RSP USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces (Central) made his first official visit to 12 Division which is under command to Security Force Headquarters (Central) on 27 June 2017 after assuming duties as the Commander, Security Forces (Central).
The Commander, Security Forces (Central) was warmly welcomed by General Officer Commanding of 12 Division and other senior officers by awarding a Guard Turnout by the troops of 9 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
Afterwards, the Commander addressed the troops of the Division in the presence of General Officer Commanding of 12 Division, Brigade Commanders of 121 and 122 Brigades, Commanding Officers along with 48 Officers and 440 Other Ranks from under command Units. The address was followed by an All Ranks' Tea at the premises of the Division.
Further, the Commander, Security Forces (Central) visited the 121 and 122 Brigades on the same day and addressed the officers of the said Brigades. Subsequently, the Commander signed the Visitors' Books of the places visited in order to mark his first official visit.
