Major General MKD Perera RWP RSP USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces (Central) made his first official visit to 11 Division which is under command to Security Force Headquarters (Central) on 15 June 2017 after assuming the duties as the Commander, Security Forces (Central).
The visit was marked by initially paying homage to the most noble Temple of the Tooth. Thereafter, the Commander, Security Forces (Central) was warmly received by Major General AWAWN Ranawana RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of 11 Division and other senior officers. The visiting Commander was honoured with a Guard Turnout by troops of 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
Thereafter, troops were addressed by the Security Force Commander with the attendance of General Officer Commanding 11 Division, Brigade Commanders of 111 and 112 Brigades and Commanding Officers along with 40 more Officers and 220 Other Ranks from under command units. The address was followed by an all ranks tea at the premises of 11 Division.
Further, on the same day, the Commander, Security Forces (Central) visited HQs of 111 and 112 Brigades and addressed the officers after a presentation on the deployment. Subsequently, he stated the Visitors' Books of the places visited in order to mark his first official visit.
