After assumption of the duties as the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Central), Major General A.K.S Perera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu made his first formal visit to 11 Division on 18 June 2015.
Major General D.S.N.K. Senadeera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division welcomed the Commander SF (Cen) to the Division Headquarter and later on discussed about the administration matters with officers serving under command Brigades and Units of the11 Division.
Subsequently, he addressed all ranks of under command Brigades and Units at the Conference Hall of the Headquarter. After the discussion, Commander SF (Central) received a symbolic memento from the GOC and took part in a tea party, which was attended by all officers and other ranks.
Later he visited the Headquarter 111 Brigade, Signal School - Buwelikada, Headquarter 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Headquarter 2 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps. Afterward, he participated in the religious activities at ‘Sri Dalada Maligawa’ in Kandy.
