COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE (CENTRAL) OFFICIALLY VISITS THE BATTALIONS UNDER COMMAND TO 11 INFANTRY DIVISION AND 111 INFANTRY BRIGADE

The Commander Security Force (Central) Major General N R Lamahewage RWP RSP ndu, paid homage to the Sacred Temple of Tooth Relic, Kandy and called on Maha Nayaka Theros of Asgiri and Malwathu Chapters. The Commander also met the Diyawadana Nilame of Temple of Tooth Relic and Governor of the Central Province. GOC of 11 Infantry Division, Major General S M P B Samarakoon RWP RSP, Brigade Commander 111 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier T M R B Rathnayake RWP RSP, Brigade Commander 112 Infantry Brigade Brigadier D A K Disanayake WWV RWP RSP along with Commanding Officers were present in this significant occasion.

Subsequently, the Security Forces Commander visited 11 Infantry Division, 111 Infantry Brigade and their under command battalions. He also supervised the ongoing constructions of the Army Base Hospital at Pallekelle.
