The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General AWJC De Silva RWP VSV USP ndu psc visited 12 Division which is under command to Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on 21 January 2017. The newly constructed office complex of the Division was declared open at an auspicious time scheduled at 1041 hours, by the Commander of the army to mark his official visit to 12 Division.
In parallel with this official visit a tree sapling was planted by the Commander of the Army at the camp premises. Afterwards, The Commander visited 122 Brigade and addressed all ranks. Moreover, the official visit came to an end with an all ranks lunch with the participation of the Commander of the Army.
