Central Troops Learn About HIV & AIDS

A valuable lecture on Human Immune Deficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) was conducted at the Security Forces Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C), Diyathalawa on Wednesday (5) to coincide with the World AIDS Day.

This awareness lecture was organized on a suggestion of the Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-C) Maj Gen W R P De Silva USP ndu IG. 84 troops including Officers listened to the lecture.

Dr Thusitha Attanayake of Badulla District hospital HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitting Diseases Prevention Unit delivered the lectures.
