CENTRAL TROOPS CLEAR ROADS OBSTRUCTED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER

Troops of 3 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) under 112 Infantry Brigade and 11 Infantry Division of Security Force Headquarters (Central) hand in hand with workers at Road Development Authority (RDA) cleared soil mounds, caused by a minor landslide near Blackcool Junction on Wednesday, 03 August 2022 along Nuwara Eliya-Hatton Road.

Troops who acted quickly joined hands with workers at Nuwara Eliya Road Development Authority, removed earth mounds and restored the road transport operations within few hours. The operation was worked out on the guidance of Commander Security Force (Central) Major General Samantha Silva.
