The prevailing adverse weather condition in Central highlands constantly disturbed the railway operations and vehicular movements during the past days. Railway track near to the Idalgashinna station was obstructed due to a earth slip during the night hours on 06 December 2023, and the entire line of train operations have been barricaded for hours.
On a short notice, troops attached to Security Force Headquarters Central, headed towards Idalgashinna area, and made a great effort to clear the rail track in order to restore the train operations.
