CENTRAL COMMANDER VISITS 11 DIVISION

Major General P U S Vithanage RSP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Central) made his first formal visit to the 11 Division on 04 January 2017 after assuming duties as the Commander, Security Forces (Central). The commander was honoured with a formal Guard Turnout by the troops of 5 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (Volunteer) and a tree sapling was planted by the commander to mark the visit to the 11 Division.

Afterward The Commander addressed all ranks in the presence of Major General D S N K Senadeera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu, General Officer Commanding of 11 Division, Brigade Commander of 111 Brigade, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and Other Ranks. Subsequently the Commander took part in an all rank tea party and signed the Visitors' Book in remembrance of his first visit to the 11 Division.
