Celebrating 69th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, Security Forces Headquarters (Central) started the day with following programmes under the guidance of Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Central) Maj Gen G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG on 10 Oct 18.
Hosting of the Army flag by the Commander Security Forces (Central) commenced the day's event, followed by reciting the army song. Afterwards the Commander's Army Day message was read out by the Lt Col S P Malawarage RSP USP IG.
In the meantime, a tree planting programme was launched at the WOs' and Sgts' Mess premises of the SFHQ (Cen) with the participation of 30‹250 officers and other ranks.
