The one year anniversary of consecrating the Relic shrine to Sri Sudarshanaramaya – Haldummulla by its chief incumbent, Ven. Kahagolle Ananda Thero was celebrated with a series of religious events on 19 March 2023.
The street procession to proceed 50 Brass Buddha Statues, escorting the sacred relic casket and offering of 72 Atapirikara were conducted at the premises of the temple and the events were graced by Major General Mohan Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu Commander Security Force (Central).
The religious program was organized with the assistance provided by troops of Security Force Headquarters (Central). Senior Officers, troops and residents witnessed the mega event.
