Troops under Security Force (Central) made initiatives to coordinate another dry ration pack distribution programme in order to assist deserving families in Badulla District. Upon the directions of Commander Security Force (Central) Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu Army Troops distributed dry ration packs with essential items among 1400 families during a formal ceremony held at Kahattewela Sri Subodharamaya temple in Bandarawela on 20 May 2022. The dry ration packs inclusive of rice, dhal, salt, soya meet and coconut were donated by Talagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation and Tan Ngak & Kee Meng Lang Foundation Limited (Singapore) in scope of relieving the deserving people in Sri Lanka.
The donation programme was graced by the Commander Security Force (Central) as chief guest. Religions leaders, Senior Army Officers, Residents and Troops were present during the programme.
