Troops of the 12 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force Central, renovated the ward complex, toilet complex, nurses’ rest room and constructed a new small shrine as well at Divisional Hospital Beragma at Ambalanthota.
Accordingly, hospital authority provided the construction material and resource, while Army troops lent their technical expertise and manpower to complete the project under the supervision of the Deputy General Officer Commanding and the Garrison Engineer of the 12 Infantry Division.
In line with the 75 Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army the renovated ward complex and other facilities were ceremonially handed over to the hospital authority, while declared open the shrine by Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division in a simple ceremony on 04 September 2024. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, staff of the hospital and villagers were present at the occasion.
