In concurrence with the 32nd Death Anniversary of late Brigadier J F Halangoda VSV who is the founder of Gemunu Watch and first Commanding Officer of 1st Battalion Gemunu Watch, son of the late veteran Brigadier (Retired) H N Halangoda RWP RSP USP USACGSC who served as 13th Commanding Officer of 1st Battalion Gemunu Watch made a donation of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds to the ICU at Base Hospital Diyatalawa on 10 June 2022. The donation was made with the contributions of family members of Brigadier (Retired) H N Halangoda and members of Sri Lanka Society of Queensland, Australia. Troops of Security Force (Central) coordinated the donation programme which was highly commended by the Management of Base Hospital Dityatalawa.
