In order to identify the concerns as well as find immediate solutions for them, the President Gotabaya Rajapakse visited Haldummulla Divisional Secretariat area in Badulla district. Accordingly, on 25 September 2020 the President met the villagers of Kumarathenna rural area and also observed a house which was damaged due to an elephant attack. Further, it was instructed to build a new house with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Army. Therefore, on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP the construction work of the new house was commenced.
