A Bodhi Pooja, organized by the 7th Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) in Diyatalawa on account of Il Full Moon Poya Day, was conducted with the participation of Major General PUS Vithanage RSP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Central) on 14 November 2016.
Ven. Ellewela Sobitha Thero, an incumbent of Vimalagiri Temple in Manikkanda, delivered a Dhamma Sermon during the Bodhi Pooja, held at the Bodhikanda Temple.
Brigadier N K Wadugodapitiya RSP psc Brigadier General Staff of SF HQ (Central) and 315 Army personnel participated in the Bodhi Pooja.
Offering of Eightfold Requisites (Ata Pirikara) to the invited Ven. Ellewela Sobitha Thero by Security Forces Commander and other senior officers culminated the Bodhi Pooja.
