23 VIR COMMEMORATES ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY

23 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) celebrated its 15th Anniversary on 24 November 2024 at 23 VIR camp premises with customary military formalities.

The Commanding Officer, 23 VIR was saluted in a Guard Turnout on his arrival at the camp premises on the anniversary day. Afterwards, he planted a mango sapling, posed for a group photograph, addressed the troops and joined an All Rank tea.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the anniversary programme.
