THE 20 TH COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCES (CENTRAL) ASSUMES THE OFFICE

Major General GMN Perera RWP RSP USP ndc assumed office as the 20th commander of security forces Headquarters (central) on 15 September 2024. On his arrival at the premises, commander of security forces (central) was awarded with a guard turnout and guard of honour by troops of 23 VIR. Thereafter planted a sapling to mark the occasion and attended in a group photograph

Thereafter, Major General GMN Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, auspiciously took over duties amidst religious observance and place his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of his new office

After the formalities, newly appointed security forces central Commander addressed the troops, and then he was attended for a formal All Rank Tea at the NCO’s Club. Afterwards, a comprehensive briefing at conference hall with the participation of commander logistics, Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Admin and quartering , all staff officer who were performing duties at the security forces Headquarters (central) and under command units.

Finally, the commander given his remarks and invited all officers to be a active member of his team, at last, paying his sincere gratitude for all past and existing all officers and soldiers.
