12 INFANTRY DIVISION TROOPS PREVENT EROSION OF SAND BUND NEAR GODAWAYA FISHERIES HARBOR

Responding to the request of the Disaster Management Centre Hambantota, the troops of the 12 Infantry Division Headquarters along with disaster respond team of Hambantota District, immediately attended and prevent the erosion of the Estuary Mouth of Godawaya Lagoon in Ambalantota on 28 and 29 November 2024.

This task was carried out with the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division Major General J S B W Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc.
