To mark the World Children’s Day, with sponsorship provided by Old Boys’ Association (Australian Branch) of Kalutara Vidyalaya which was coordinated by Maj Amith Pushpakumara SLA, 30 students of Munasinghe Primary School and 175 students of Helagama Primary School in Monaragala District were participated for the program on 01 October 2024. The distribution of school shoes and accessories for each student was took place at Helagama Primary School premises.
Maj Gen JSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division graced the event as the chief guest, along with the Commander 121 Infantry Brigade, the Commanding Officer 18 Gamunu Watch. The participants including students and teachers were provided with a snack at the end of the program by the philanthropists.
