12 Division organized series of programmes to celebrate the 69th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army in 12 Division AOR with the guidance of Comd Security Forces (Cen) Maj Gen G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG on 10 Oct 18. Flag hoisting ceremony was held at Headquarters 11 Division with the participation of GOC 11 Division Maj Gen N D Wanniarachchi WWV RWP RSP USP ndc IG. Message of the Commander of the Army was red by Col S N Kitulgoda USP at the event.
Army Day Falg March, Blood Donation Campaign with participation of 71 soldiers from 9 SLSR and 18 GW and distribution of Past Paper Books among group of students from low income families in Monaragala National College ware also followed in line with the Army Day celebration of 12 Division.
