11 Division and 12 Division of Security Forces (Central) organized grand Vesak Festivals on 29 and 30 April 2018 at the headquarters premises. At this Vesak Festival, colourful and innovative Vesak lanterns were exhibited by 11 Division and its under command Brigades as well as Units. Further, they organized an Ice cream and Grams Dansala in parallel with the Vesak day celebrations.
Meanwhile, 12 Division also exhibited Vesak lanterns and organized a Dansala also at Nimbarama Temple premises. Further, they presented devotional songs in order to add more glamour to the event. The chief guest of this event was the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias USP ndc psc IG.
