Headquarters of 4th Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment is deployed at Maberiyatenna in Kandy area. The Battalion consists with WMZ 551 B wheeled APCs to secure and maintain the security covering all areas of the Country. The Battalion is performing duties under Mechanized Infantry Brigade.
