Headquarters of 5th (V) Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment is deployed at Poonaryn in Kilinochchi Theatre. The Battalion is performing duties in Infantry role to secure and maintain the security in the area under the supervision of Mechanized Infantry Brigade.
