THE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT SEVA VANITHA BRANCH VISITED WAR HEROES AT ‘ABIMANSALA III’ WELLNESS RESORT IN PANGOLLA

The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch President, Mrs Priyanga Wickramasinghe and members made a visit to the ‘Abimansala III’ Wellness Resort in Pangolla on 31 August 2024 and looked into the well-being of the resident war heroes who are under recuperation at the Wellness Resort.

Further, The Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) and Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment Major General M G W W W M C B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Centre Commandant Brigadier A K Peiris RSP, and few other Senior Officers and other ranks were associated with the visit.

During the visit, Mrs Priyanga Wickramasinghe together with other members of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch donated batik shirts and sarongs for the resident war heroes.

Major General M G W W W M C B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc has made an inspiration speech and the event concluded with a tea session for the war heroes.
