FAREWELL CEREMONY FOR RETIRING BRIGADIER KKS PERAKUM RWP RSP, MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

Farewell Ceremony for retiring Brigadier K K S Perakum RWP RSP, Mechanized Infantry Regiment was held on 16 May 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Mechanized Infantry Regiment with the direction of the Colonel of the Regiment Major General M G W W W M C B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc.

The retiring Brigadier K K S Perakum RWP RSP Mechanized Infantry Regiment was received by the Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment.

The formal military ceremony was commenced soon after the Guard Turnout at the entrance. After that, he paid tribute to the fallen war heroes at the monument followed by attended the ceremonial parade, all ranks tea party and formal dinner night at the Officers' Mess - Dehippawa.

Following day he was offered with salute by all Officers and Other Ranks in a street line to appreciate the dedicated service rendered to the Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
