SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF THE MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT CONDUCTS A POSON DANSELA

In parallel to the Poson Poya Day, Seva Vanitha Branch of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment organized a Manioc Dansela at the playground of Dambuluhalmillawewa Model School on 14 June 2022.

It was successfully organized and cooked over 500 kg of Manioc to serve for the people under existing health guidelines.

Deputy Chief of Staff, Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Channa Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu and the President of Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Dhanusha Weerasuriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guests. Centre Commandant, Brigadier Anura Abeysinghe RWP RSP USP and the Secretary of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Swarnamali Ekanayake, Senior Members of Seva Vanitha Branch were present at the event.
