14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) - 2022 of the Seva Vanitha Branch - Mechanized Infantry Regiment was held on 05 March 2022 at the Officers’ Mess of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regimental Centre - Panagoda. The President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Dhanusha Weerasuriya presided the meeting to discuss welfare matters for the wellbeing of serving members and families of supreme sacrifices made by War Heroes of the Regiment.
The meeting was successfully conducted and progress of many welfare projects were reviewed and discussed to initiate other most required, welfare activities for the betterment of the Regiment while supporting and strengthening the Regimental welfare activities. The Secretary, Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe and other Senior Members along with more than 50 members were present at the event. Further, all members were offered a gift pack each to appreciate their participation.
During the meeting, all members were able to participate in the fruitful and periodically valued lecture by Mrs. Ama Dissanayake who is the professional motivation lecturer. Finally, the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch presented her with a memento to mark the occasion.
