OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE COLONEL OF THE REGIMENT TO THE 4TH BATTALION MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

The Colonel of the Regiment of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Major General S S Waduge RWP RSP USP ndu psc paid his first official visit to the 4th Battalion of Mechanized Infantry Regiment on 02 April 2021.

After a cordial welcome by the Commanding Officer - Lieutenant Colonel R A S R Ranasinghe USP psc MIR and greeted with a guard turnout. Thereafter, the Colonel of the Regiment together with the Commander, Mechanized Infantry Brigade - Brigadier S J Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP and Centre Commandant - Brigadier W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP with Officers and Other Ranks of the battalion posed for the group photograph followed by planting of sapling to mark his official visit to the Battalion. After that, attended for the briefing of the Commanding Officer, troops address, all ranks tea and camp visit respectively.

Finally, Colonel of the Regiment left his remarks on the Visitors’ Book.
