The visit of Brigadier W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP - Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment to 3rd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment was held on 18 September 2020.
Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel R M H B Ratnayake RSP USP psc MIR - Commanding Officer, upon arrival at the entrance and greeted with a guard turnout.
Subsequently, he was witnessed the briefing conducted by Commanding Officer. Thereafter, attended for troops address followed by planting a sapling, all ranks tea and camp visit.
During the visit Commanding Officer presented a plaque to mark the event. The programme was concluded after conveyed best wishes for future prospects keeping remarks on the Visitors Book.
