The Mechanized Infantry Regiment celebrated its 13th anniversary giving prominence to the religious activities. The whole night Pirith Chanting followed by Almsgiving was held on 07 March 2020 at the Regimental Centre to invoke blessing to the Regiment.
The event was organized under the guidance of the Centre Commandant Brigadier S J Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP and close supervision of the Deputy Centre Commandant Colonel KKS Perakum RWP RSP.
Major General A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP - Colonel of the Regiment together with Council members, Senior Officers, all Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Regimental staff and cross section from each battalion attended for the event.
