REMARKABLE DREW BY THE MECHANIZED INFANTRY TROOPS IN THE INTER REGIMENT COMBAT FIRING MEET

The Prize Awarding Ceremony of the Inter Regiment Combat Firing Meet was held on 22 December 2019 at the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School, Diyatalawa. Major General N A Dharmaratne WWV RWP RSP ndu psc, Deputy Chief of Staff was the Chief Guest.

Better organized and trained troops of Mechanized Infantry Regiment were participated in the Inter Regiment Combat Firing Meet under the categories of Open and Novices. There were 20 teams in the open category and 12 teams in the novices category.

Major Y A I S Sooriyabandara MIR awarded as the Best Commanding Officer for the category of novices.

Lance Corporal Udaya Kumara AGS awarded as the Best Shooter of the Novices Championship.
