OFFICERS TRAINING DAY 2018 - II

The Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre conducted its second Officers' Training Day session for the year 2018 at the Regimental Centre Dambuluhalmillawewa on 11 May 2018 under the guidance of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General M K D Perera RWP RSP USP ndu.

The Training Day's proceedings were commenced with the Physical Training. After the Physical Training session, Foot Drill training session was conducted for junior Officers. The Centre Commandant, Colonel H M U Herath RWP RSP USP psc made the opening remarks stating that importance of conducting Training Day session. Thereafter, a group presentation on "Indian implication on political, economy and military strategy while playing key role in Sri Lankan development" was conducted by 1 Mechanized Infantry presentation Group.

The Book Review on "South Asia integrates with the world economic: economic liberalization the South Asian episode written by Mr. Punyasiri Subasinghe was conducted by Capt M D A K Jayathissa - 4 Mech Inf. Culminating the Training Day's proceedings 'Diners' Club Session" was held at the Regimental Officers' Mess on "Perseverance as a Trait to do the impossible" by Mr. Rohan Pallewatta - Executive Chairman of Lanka Harness Co; (PVT) Ltd.
