WELFARE PROJECT TO THE SERVING SOLDIERS OF THE REGIMENT

Marking one more welfare project to the serving Soldiers of the Regiment, the differently abled wife of S/V101405 Private Madhuwantha AJT - 5th (V) Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment, was donated a Wheel Chair by Mechanized Infantry Ladies Club on 12 August 2020 at his residence in Diyabeduma.

Responding to the request made by Mrs.Manori Jayasundera - President, Mechanized Infantry Ladies Club, the philanthropist, Dr Priyanjith Peiris and Mrs.Nilanthi based in Canada willingly provided financial assistance to the Wheel Chair.

Major General A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP - Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment/ General Officer Commanding, 23 Division along with few members of the Ladies Club were participated for the event. Concurrently, the same family members were gifted with gifts parcels.
