VISIT OF CHIEF OF STAFF, ARMY HEADQUARTERS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE INSPECTION OF MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

Administrative inspection presided by Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP VSV USP ndc psc - Chief of Staff Army Headquarters was held on 13 August 2020 at the Regimental Centre Mechanized Infantry Regiment - Dambuluhalmillawewa. As per the day's proceedings Major General A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP - Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment received the Chief of Staff and presented with a guard turnout. Thereafter, Director Generals, Directors, Staff Officers of Army Headquarters and Staff Officers of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Headquarters were warmly welcomed by Colonel of the Regiment, Mechanized Infantry Regiment to the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre.

Further, Brigadier SJ Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP - Commander Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP - Centre Commandant Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Commandant Mechanized Infantry Training Centre, all Commanding Officers of Mechanized Infantry Battalions, Staff Officers of Mechanized Infantry Regiment were presence at the event.

At the later part of the event, Mechanized Infantry Regiment was able to clear the observations made by the respective Branches/Directorates with the directions of Chief of Staff and Director Generals/Directors.

Afterwards, hief of Staff was presented with a memento by Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment to mark the administrative inspection visit. Further, Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry was presented with a memento by Chief of Staff.

Finally, Chief of Staff concluded the administrative inspection visit keeping praiseworthy remarks on the Visitors' Book.
