The study visit of Officer Cadets of Sri Lanka Military Academy - Diyatalawa was held on 30 August 2020 at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre.
A total of 46 Officer Cadets of Intake 88 were participated in the study visit with Chief Instructor and other Officer Instructors.
The Officer Cadets were warmly welcomed by Colonel J M A Jayasekera RSP USP - Deputy Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre. Thereafter, they witnessed the presentation on role and tasks, capabilities and employment of Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
Moreover, the Officer Cadets were educated on ICVs and APCs and displayed a demonstration of employment drills and maneuvering of Mechanized Infantry assets in the field.
Further, Officer Cadets got opportunity to interact with Officers of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment to share their thoughts.
