Stone laying for proposed holiday bungalow of Mechanized Infantry Regiment was held on 09 August 2020 at Diyatalawa. Major General A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP - GOC, 23 Division/Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment was graced the occasion as the Chief Guest with the invitation of Brigadier W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP - Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment. It was a long anticipated requirement for the regiment as a welfare concern. Lieutenant Colonel MMWG Raminda RSP - Commanding Officer, 4th Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment was presence at the occasion.
