Opening of the Newly Contructed House for Family of Late S/827727 Cpl Udaya Kumara HPN

In honor of the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, to be celebrated this October, we continue to uphold the spirit of brotherhood by caring for the families of our fallen heroes. In this regard, a newly constructed house was presented to Mrs. Nadeeka Madushani, the widow of Corporal Udaya Kumara, who passed away while on active duty.

The house was graciously gifted on 29 July 2024, by Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of the Security Forces Jaffna and Colonel of the Regiment of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment, along with Mrs. Priyanga Wickramasinghe, President of the Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Unit. This gesture reaffirms our commitment to supporting the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
