The Centre Commandant of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Brigadier Anura Abeysinghe RWP RSP USP psc officially visited the 4th Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment on 14 May 2022.
Lieutenant Colonel Rohitha Ranasinghe USP psc welcomed him upon arrival and greeted with a guard turn out. Afterwards, he was invited to appear for a group photograph and for planting of a sapling to mark his visit.
Commanding Officer formally briefed the matters pertaining to the Operational and Administrative aspects. During his visit, addressed the troops and inspected the camp premises. Several Staff Officers of the Regimental Centre were also associated for the visit.
