OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE CENTRE COMMANDANT TO THE 3RD BATTALION MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

Formal visit to the 3rd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment was held on 17 May 2022 by the Centre Commandant of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Brigadier Anura Abeysinghe RWP RSP USP psc.

Lieutenant Colonel Thushara Muhandiramge RSP USP psc welcomed him upon arrival th the entrance while greeting a guard turn out. Afterwards, he was invited to appear for a group photograph and for planting of a sapling to mark his visit.

Commanding Officer formally briefed the matters pertaining to the Operational and Administrative aspects. During his visit, addressed the troops and inspected the camp premises. Several Staff Officers of the Regimental Centre were also associated for the visit.
