OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY 2019 - II

Second Officers Training Day of the year 2019 held at the Regimental Centre on 19 July 2019 with the guidance of the Colonel of the Regiment Brigadier AMSB Atapattu. Commander Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers and Officers of the Regiment were participated in the Training Day programme.

The Centre Commandant, Colonel S J Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP delivered the Opening Remarks stressing the importance of conducting Training Day Session and given clear direction issued by the Directorate of Training to participate in the Regimental Training Day.

Thereafter, Officers of 2nd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment were conducted a presentation on "Religious Extremism and How Does it Effect to the Stability of Sri Lanka"

The Book Review on "Crisis in Command Mismanagement in the Army" written by Richard A Gabriel & Paul Savage was conducted by Captain Y S A U De Silva - 1 MIR.

Marking the final event of the Training Day programme "Diners' Club Session" was held at the Officers' Mess on "Innovations in Digital Era" by Mr. Lahiru G Perera ACIM (UK) ASLIM (SL) AMIM (SL) MCPM (SL) and Mr. Yasiru Bandaranayake MBA - International (AUS) Dip - Bus (AUS) B. Com - HR (AUS).
