OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY 2018/III

The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Officers' Training Day 2018 - III conducted at the Regimental Centre on 09 November 2018. The Colonel of the Regiment, Senior Officers/Officers including the officers on ERE also participated for the Training Day programme.

The Colonel of the Regiment Brigadier A M S B Atapattu made the opening remarks stating that importance of conducting Training Day session. After the opening remarks a presentation conducted by Maj M L S B Wijerathna psc SLA. SO 2 (ACR) MS Branch, AHQ on "Initiation of Annual Confidential Reports". Thereafter, a group presentation on "Present US- Russia relations and future world" was conducted by 5(V) Mechanized Infantry presentation Group.

After the lunch break the Book Review on "Sri Lankan heritage with a globle perspective" written by Mr. Das Miriyagalla was conducted by Captain G P C Rathnayake - 1 Mech Inf.

Culminating the Training Day's proceeding a "Dinners' Club Session" was held at the Regimental Centre Officers' Mess on "Love, Success and Emotional Intelligence" by Dr. Chandana Jayawardena, Head of the Department Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.
