The newly constructed accommodation building was vested to the Officers' Mess staff during a simple ceremony on 06 June 2019. The Colonel of the Regiment Brigadier A M S B Atapattu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The project was completed with Regimental funds and manpower support of Mechanized Infantry soldiers. During the ceremony Colonel of the Regiment unveiled the main plaque, giving memories to the occasion.
The Centre Commandant Colonel S J Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP, Council Members, Commanding Officers and Regimental Staff were also present at the occasion.
