NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDANT MITC ASSUMED DUTIES

Colonel A M A Abeysinghe RWP RSP USP psc took over duties as the Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Training Centre on 14^th August 2020. The newly appointed Commandant was greeted with the Guard Turnout at the entrance and the formal military parade was presented by the troops comprising with Armoured Personal Carriers. After officially taking over duties at the office with religious blessings, he planted a sapling to symbolize the acceptance of the duties. Thereafter, he addressed all Officers and Other Ranks of the Training Centre and emphasized on carrying out the responsibilities by each individual to achieve the goals. Later he visited the camp area and inspected the routine works.
