Newly appointed President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mechanized Infantry Regiment Mrs. Priyanga Wickramasinghe took over the duties at the, Regimental Centre, Mechanized Infantry Regiment on 22 August 2023.
The President Mrs. Priyanga Wickramasinghe was welcomed by the Vice President Mrs Nilanthi Wanasinghe, the Secretary Swarnamali Ekanayake and other members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
The ceremony was commenced by lighting the traditional oil lamp followed with addresses by the new President, Vice President and the secretary. Further, Year Plan, new projects to be organized and other matters related to the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mechanized Infantry Regiment were briefly discussed with the participants in the event.
