With the guidance of Mrs Nilanthi Wanasinghe the Chairperson of the Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR SVB) along with all members, a cleaning programme was conducted at Home of Elders - Dambulla on 28 September 2024 coinciding with the 75 Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army
In addition, an entertainment programme and refreshments also provided to 57 Senior Citizens at the Elders' Home
Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division and Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment Maj Gen W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP and the Centre Commandant Brigadier A K Peiris RSP, the MIR troops conducted the programme successfully
Municipal Council Dambulla has also given their assistance and contributed for the cleaning programme
