MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY

Officers' Training Day was held at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Headquarters on 19 August 2015 with the participation of more than 79 officers as per the directives of Colonel of the Regiment Maj Gen M Hathurusinghe RSP ndc IG. The Training Day commenced with Physical Training and Drill sessions. After that, Colonel of the Regiment addressed all officers during his opening remarks stating the importance of officers\' training day.

Individual presentation and group presentation were conducted under following topics

- Identify future threat perception in Sri Lanka in National Defense
- Quality of work life

Further guest speaker Mr Susantha Bandara from Green Paradise Hotel conducted lecture on Best Dining Practices. The day's proceedings culminated with a dinners club session at Officers' Mess and university lecturer Mr Sanath de Silva from Kotelawala Defence University conducted a lecture on Let us Build Our Own Image: Public Diplomacy Role of Our Military.
