Mechanized Infantry Regiment celebrated its 7th Anniversary in a grand scale parade at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre on 25th March 2014. The said events were conducted with the participation of Colonel of the Regiment Maj Gen M Hathurusingha RSP ndc IG, Brigadier AMSP Athapattu, Centre Commandant Brigadier AGDN Jayasundara RWP RSP, Brigde Commander Colonel HMS Herath, Regimental Staff and Other Senior Officers.
