HANDING OVER THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE FOR THE FAMILY OF LATE CORPORAL NANDASIRI KS

Newly constructed house of late Corporal Nandasiri KS of Mechanized Infantry Regiment who passed away due to a vehicle accident on 04 November 2015 at Galkulama, officially handed over to his family on 30 January 2020 at Mihintale with the simple ceremony. The event was graced by the Major General A M S B Atapattu Colonel of the Regiment Mechanized Infantry Regiment.

Brigadier S J Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP - Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel KKS Perakum RWP RSP - Deputy Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel P I Punchihewa MIR - Commanding Officer, 2nd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment along with other Senior Officers/Officers and Other Ranks were participated in the event.

The project was carried out with the financial support given by the Army Headquarters Seva Vanitha Unit and Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch together with man power provided by the 2nd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
