Felicitation Ceremony of Major General A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP - General Officer Commanding, 23 Division was held at the Regimental Centre Mechanized Infantry, Dambuluhalmillawewa on 28 December 2019.
On arrival of Major General A G D N Jayasundera RWP RSP, he was warmly received by Brigadier L S Balachandra RSP - Commander Mechanized Infantry Brigade and Brigadier S J Priyadarshana RWP RSP USP - Centre Commandant, Mechanized Infantry Regiment along with other Senior Officers.
He is the second produced Major General of the Regiment and due to his felicitation, formal ceremonial events were took place. In light of the above, Guard Turnout was presented and followed by attended the Wreath Laying Ceremony at War Heroes Monument in the Regiment.
Thereafter, he was presented a Guard of Honour followed by he was attended for Planting of Sapling, Group Photograph and All Ranks Tea.
